Mr. Michael Stanton

Mr. Mike Stanton is honored to join Colham Ferry Elementary School as principal. Before he joined the Mustang family, he was a 2nd grade teacher at OCPS. This will be his 18th year as an educator. In the past, he has been a K-5 math activity teacher, K-5 technology teacher, and classroom teacher as well.
Mr. Stanton loves teaching through creating classroom experiences that help children problem solve and become independent thinkers. He strives to bring real world experiences into the classroom along with student interests to help create meaningful learning experiences.

Kandice Ivarie

Kandice Ivarie is the Assistant Principal of Colham Ferry Elementary School. She began her teaching career in 2004 and has experience working with students in grades K–5. Mrs. Ivarie joined the Oconee County School System as the Assistant Principal of Rocky Branch Elementary in 2018. Prior to that, she served as a classroom teacher, a curriculum support teacher, and an instructional curriculum coach. Mrs. Ivarie’s philosophy as an Assistant Principal is to always put students first. Her goal is to support educators in creating a rich learning environment that accommodates each student’s individual learning style.
